Every portrait is digitally hand-drawn from scratch using your pet's photo as a reference.

We never use AI-generated artwork, filters, or automated effects. Every portrait is individually illustrated by hand with careful attention to your pet's unique features, personality, and expression.

Because each portrait is created one at a time, every piece is completely unique.

1. Place Your Order
Purchase your portrait and any products you'd like it printed on.

If you're ordering products along with your portrait, simply select "Existing Portrait" within those product listings since your artwork has already been purchased separately.

2. We'll Reach Out
No need to email us after placing your order! We'll contact you within one business day to collect your pet's photos and discuss any special requests.

3. We Get Drawing
Your portrait will be hand-drawn and completed within approximately 6 weeks (often sooner).

4. Review Your Proof
Once your portrait is finished, we'll email you a proof for approval.

5. Revisions Included
Your order includes up to 3 complimentary revisions to make sure everything looks just right.

6. Receive Your Artwork
Once approved, your final files will be delivered digitally via Google Drive and email.

The better the photo, the better the portrait.

• Use clear, high-quality photos.
• Choose an image taken at your pet's eye level.
• Front-facing photos produce the best results.
• Avoid filters, costumes, or heavily edited images.
• Your final portrait will closely reflect the reference photo you submit.
• Favorite collars, bandanas, or bows can be included at no additional charge.
• Your background will be a solid color of your choice.

• Pricing is per pet. For multiple pets, simply increase the quantity when ordering.
• Due to the custom nature of this artwork, all sales are final.
• Portraits are completed within approximately 6 weeks, though they're often finished sooner.

Your portrait is licensed for personal use only.

Barktivist retains full copyright to all artwork and keeps a copy of every portrait on file.

If you'd like to use your artwork commercially, please contact us about purchasing a commercial license.
